Professional Rugby League Tackle Height Changes for 2025

Rugby Football League is introducing 44 changes, recommended by the sport's Brain Health and Clinical Advisory Group Sub-Committees, aiming to make the sport safer and more accessible at all levels. Full detail on the RFL website.

One of those changes affect the Professional levels of the sport, changing the legal tackle height for the upcoming season, tackle height will be reduced to armpit and below starting 2025, considerably reducing risk of concussion as said by the Brain Health and Clinical experts.
